Molotov cocktails aren't guns, and so they are frowned upon by long-dwelling Gungeoneers. They get the job done regardless.

Knowing the Hegemony wouldn't let her bring her own weaponry to the Gungeon, the Convict smuggled these few bottles in with the transport's cargo.

Molotov is an active item. The Convict starts with this item.

Effects[ | ]

  • Upon use, throws a Molotov that sets an area on fire.

Notes[ | ]

  • Molotov has no effect in The Gorgun's boss arena.
  • Fire goop does not deal damage to the Bullet King.
  • Fire goop will reveal secret rooms, not by cracking the wall, but because the goop is visible in the hallway behind the fake wall.

  • UnusedSynergy Unused: Open Bar - If the player has Molotov Launcher, using the Molotov restores 5 ammo to the player's currently held gun. Removed because it contains a starting item.
