- The item's subtext is a reference to the Biggie Smalls song 'Come On'.
- The synergy with the Eyepatch is a reference to Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken in the 1981 movie Escape from New York. Snake wears an eyepatch over his left eye and primarily uses a MAC10. 'Iroquois Plissken' is also an alias used by Snake in the Metal Gear series. The character of Snake is heavily based on Snake Plissken, including wearing an eyepatch.
- Having no burst delay, MAC10 can be seen as a full-automatic gun that always fire at least 4 bullets per trigger pulled.
