- Prevents the player from being moved by external forces, including:
- Enemy knockback
- Gun recoil
- Conveyor belts
- Ice patches

- Hardwood - If the player also has Mahoguny, it fires four explosive shots at a time.
- Heavy Metal - If the player also has Anvillain, its shot speed is decreased by 25% and its damage is increased by 20%.
- Iron Slug - If the player also has Big Iron, it fires a single high-damage slug.
- Iron Stance - If the player also has Tangler, Pulse Cannon, Blunderbuss, Regular Shotgun, Old Goldie, Huntsman, Void Shotgun, Zilla Shotgun, Elephant Gun, Blooper or Siren, their damage is increased by 20%, their shot speed is increased by 50%, and their reload time is decreased by 20%.
- Moving platforms with still move the player as normal.
- This item prevents the recoil from Alien Engine, making it much easier to use offensively.
- With this item, swinging Blasphemy or Casey does not cause the player to lunge forward.

- Causes the player to release a shockwave upon landing. Enemies caught in the shockwave will be knocked back and take light damage.
- Has a short cooldown before the effect can be activated again.
Notes[ | ]
- This item can be very useful on sections where the elevator has holes. Knocking grounded enemies into pits will instantly kill them, which is easy to do with this item.
- The cooldown of this item is very short. While not enough to activate it on every short hop, it can still be used frequently to create space for yourself or even kill small enemies.
- This item could also a be a reference to the song "Everlong" by The Foo Fighters, where you can hear the words "heavy boots" whispered in the song at 3:19
