Ammonomicon Bullet Shark

No Accident
Leaves a wake of bullets.

Bullet Sharks float around the room and occasionally charge at the player, releasing slow-moving short-lived bullets behind and to the sides of it, some of which will accelerate outwards. Bullets that travel outwards will flash while bullets that stay behind will not.

Bullet Sharks can be blocked by walls and other obstacles when charging, resulting in them just shooting out projectiles without covering any distance towards the player.

Notes[ | ]

  • If the player is under invisibility (such as Box or Grey Mauser) then Bullet Sharks will just circle around in place.

Ammonomicon Great Bullet Shark

Bigger Bullet
A bullet shark that has grown larger and faster.

These sharks are feared throughout the Gungeon, though surprisingly few shark-related deaths occur every year.

Great Bullet Sharks behave like regular Bullet Sharks, but charge for much longer and release more bullets. They are also faster than their smaller variants, but take a second at the start of each charge to reach this speed.

Trivia[ | ]

  • Great Bullet Shark's Ammonomicon art has side fins unlike its sprite.
  • The entry also marks of the low death rate caused by sharks, a nod to a common misconception of real-life sharks' and their kill and injury count.
  • Bigger Bullet could be a reference to the line “We’re going to need a bigger boat.”
