Bullet Hell is the secret 6th chamber of The Gungeon. It contains no shops or treasure rooms, although pickups and chests can still be found upon clearing rooms.
Bullet Hell always contains a secret room with an Evil Muncher.
How To Access[ | ]
- Bullet Hell is accessed in the Aimless Void. After killing the pasts of the 4 main Gungeoneers, walking onto the large platform just before the chest that contains The Gun That Can Kill The Past will cause a skeletal hand to appear and drag players down into Bullet Hell.
- It is unavoidable to enter Bullet Hell the first time the player enters the Aimless Void after defeating the pasts of the 4 main Gungoneers, unless in Blessing or Challenge mode. The player cannot dodge it even if they walk around the area where the rift would be in future runs. Prepare for a run to it accordingly.
- After entering Bullet Hell at least once, a large rift will appear in the platform that will take the player to Bullet Hell. The rift can be walked around to avoid going to Bullet Hell.
- Note that the player cannot enter Bullet Hell for the first time when in Blessing Mode or Challenge Mode, but it is always accessible once the rift is opened.

Bullet Hell always follows the same basic layout:
- The starting room has three paths. Two of the paths will merge and lead to the second junction, while one of the paths will consist of a single dead end room.
- The second junction has three more paths. Two of the paths will form a loop, while one of the paths will lead to the third junction.
- The third junction has three more paths. Two of the paths will reach dead ends, while one of the paths will lead to the Lich.
